Some parents love coming back at ten and tucking their child in at home. Others prefer to lift a sleeping child from a warm bed at midnight. Both are completely normal here.

AFTER SIX works with small, permanent teams. Every child has their own host — the same familiar faces who serve dinner, do the bedtime routine and are there when they wake up briefly. Babies stay with the caregiver they know best.
Familiarity is the whole point. It is what turns an evening out into an easy yes.
The Bedtime Profile
At signup you record the ritual: bedtime, teeth brushing, the stuffed animal, the story, the night light, door ajar, pacifier, allergies, quirks. The team sees that profile the moment your child arrives.
Around 20:30 you get one message: “Sophie is asleep 🌙”
No reports while you're at dinner. Just peace of mind.

Why we exist
Because the evening belongs to you too.
Being a parent is a role, not the whole person. Dinner with friends, a concert, a late Tuesday to yourselves — those evenings keep you close to each other and to who you were before.
So we built a club that owns the evening. Open until midnight, bookable on the day itself, upon availability, everything and everyone already in place — for babies and big kids alike.
One membership

Membership gives you access, priority booking and a familiar experience at every AFTER SIX location. We open in Utrecht first. Then the rest follows.
Later: member events, guest passes, partner restaurants and hotel perks. First, we build the club.

AFTER SIX will operate as a fully registered childcare organisation: pedagogical policy, professional caregiver-to-child ratios, GGD inspection, LRK registration, sleeping arrangements to the applicable standards and VOG-checked staff. The boutique experience sits on top of a completely regulated foundation.
Yes. We work with small, permanent teams and every child has their own host — the same familiar faces at dinner, during play and at the bedtime ritual.
Babies are welcome, and so are school-age children. Bottles, diapers and a baby's own sleeping rhythm are part of the evening, just like a six-year-old's bedtime story. Group sizes and age groups are finalised before opening, within the rules for registered childcare — the waitlist tells us which ages to plan for first.
Yes. Evenings are credits, not appointments set in stone. Cancellation terms will be simple and member-friendly — final details follow at opening.
AFTER SIX is open until 00:00. Your child sleeps until you arrive — pick-up is calm and quiet, whenever suits you before closing.
Absolutely. Pick them up before bedtime and do the whole ritual at home, or let them fall asleep here and carry them out later in the evening. Both are completely normal — you choose per evening.

Because AFTER SIX will be LRK-registered childcare, evening care may qualify for kinderopvangtoeslag under the usual conditions. We'll confirm the exact setup before opening.
